ENTRANT'S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By entering this Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood
and accepted the following terms and conditions.
HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible for On-Site Warranty service during the warranty
period, Australian resident end-user owners of new Epson eligible
products need to register their product details on the Product Registration
website within 30 days from the purchase date.
ONLINE ENTRY RECORDING DEADLINE
The closing date to record your entries online for this Promotion with Epson is at midnight (AEST) on:
30 June 2015
ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS
The following Genuine Epson Products are eligible for registration:
- Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630 or WorkForce Pro WF-4640 printer purchased new from Epson Australia or an Australian Epson Stockist where the product is located at a distance of 50kms or less from an Australian Epson authorised service agent, (click here to check if eligible);
INELIGIBLE PRODUCTS
The following products are not eligible for bonus warranty under this promotion:
- Products located at a distance greater than 50kms from an Australian Epson authorised service agent;
- Epson single and multifunction printers, scanners and LabelWorks (see separate promotions for these printers);
- Epson Projectors, (see separate promotion for projectors);
- Epson Discpublishers, (see separate promotion for Discproducers);
- Epson Large Format / Professional Graphics printers;
- Epson Commercial or Industrial printers;
- Epson Point of Sale, (POS printers);
- Epson consumables, options and accessories;
- Epson products previously registered;
- Products where the original Epson factory warranty has expired;
- Products where an extended warranty / service agreement has been taken out on the product, either with Epson or a third party; and
- Second hand, ex-demonstration, factory seconds or other damaged
products are not eligible for this Promotion.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
You must also complete a short online product usage survey to qualify
for this promotion.
ENTRY LIMIT
You can submit one entry to this Promotion for each Eligible Product registered
during the Registration Period shown above.
REWARDS
Epson may vary the special bonus at any time.
Currently the special bonus is a Certificate that upgrades the standard
12 month Return to Base warranty to Onsite Warranty service.
Epson will supply via e-mail to purchasers of Eligible Products who
comply with this Promotion, a 12 Month Onsite Warranty Upgrade Certificate
in PDF format.
- The On-Site Warranty Certificate upgrades the standard 12 month Epson Return to Base Warranty to Onsite Warranty Service during the standard 12 month warranty period from the original purchase date.
- The standard warranty conditions will otherwise apply unaltered to this On-Site Warranty service.
- The On-Site Warranty Certificate is not transferable.
- The On-Site Warranty does not apply to Epson product accessories or consumables.
- Use of non-genuine Epson consumables may void this On-Site Warranty.
- Epson's Service Agent may charge you for labour, parts and travel costs, if any conditions of this On-Site Warranty are breached.
ONLINE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You must log into the Club Epson Product Registration Website and enter
the following details:
- Contact Details (valid e-mail address required)
- Register an Eligible Product type
- Record Serial Number
- Date and place of Purchase
- Complete a small product usage survey
You must fulfil the online requirements of the Promotion and in particular you must:
- Tick the checkbox confirming that your current personal details (name and email address) are correct,
- Confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Promotion; and
- Click the "Submit" button at the foot of the Promotion page, to complete your online entry.
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER THIS PROMOTION
To be eligible to enter this Promotion you must comply with the specific
requirements outlined above and you must also be:
- An end-user of an Epson product (being private, business, government or educational); and
- An Australian Resident.
- For onsite service to be offered, the printer must be located
within 50Kms of an Epson Authorised service centre*. Otherwise normal
Return-to-Base warranty cover will apply.
INELIGIBLE PERSONS
You are ineligible to enter this Promotion if you are:>
- An employee of Epson;
- An Immediate Family Member of any such employee or
- An employee of or contractor to a reseller, dealer, stockist, distributor or retailer of Epson products.
"Immediate Family Member" means spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee/contractor.
GENERAL PROMOTION CONDITIONS
Epson will automatically send an e-mail attaching the 12 Months Onsite
Warranty Certificate (in PDF format) to the e-mail address you entered.
If after one (1) week from the date of entry, you have not received your
Certificate, you should contact us via e-mail
(click here).
After three (3) weeks from the close of this Promotion Epson will
not enter into any correspondence or discussions relating to undelivered
Onsite Warranty Certificates.
Despite any communication to the contrary, Epson also reserves the right to reject an entry that is found to be ineligible to participate in this Promotion.
Epson reserves the right to reject any entry that in its opinion contains any objectionable, indecent, obscene or inappropriate content. No reward can be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. By entering this Promotion, you consent to Epson sending you by email all necessary communications relating to it.EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
To the full extent permitted by law, Epson is not liable for any loss,
including (but without limitation) alleged consequential economic loss,
by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by Epson, or
its servants or agents, in connection with this Promotion or the supply
of any reward.
This clause does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws.
To the maximum extent allowed by such laws, Epson's liability is limited to the cost of re-supplying a reward where necessary.MODIFICATION
OR CANCELLATION
If Epson cannot conduct this Promotion as indicated in these conditions,
for any reason including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond
its control that may affect the proper conduct of this Promotion, Epson
reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion.
EPSON IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Any accidental omission, deletion, loss or destruction of an entry;
- Incorrect e-mail address resulting in the loss of the PDF Extended Warranty Certificate;
- Any unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;
- Spam filters blocking e-mails or attachments;
- Any technical malfunction or failure of any network, communication lines, computer systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software which results in an entry not being received within the Promotion's time limits; or
- Any damage to an entrant's or other person's computer system or software arising from participating in this Promotion or downloading materials relating to it.
